Ocean Ridge

Ocean Ridge is the kind of name that wouldn’t sound out of place in any sea-adjacent location. However, this town could only exist where it does, tucked away on a Palm Beach barrier island. It floats across the Intracoastal from Boynton Beach, where Ocean Ridge residents are more than happy to leave any semblance of hubbub behind. That is unless they’re headed to a local marina or jetty where boats of all models and makes embark on countless water-bound adventures. What Ocean Ridge may lack in land area is more than made up for by its water access. Even putting aside all the boating and fishing trips, one of the town’s multiple mighty fine beaches is rarely far from home. Nature also vastly factors into Ocean Ridge, with preserves like the car-free, mangrove-laden Ocean Ridge Natural Area explorable on foot or via bike or boat.
